Balance and Strengthening Classes: These classes are targeted toward people who are struggling with poor balance due to a range of neurological conditions such as Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis, or Vertigo, or due to the affects of advancing age. Our body’s ability to regain balance, and improve muscle strength and flexibility, through specific exercise is quite remarkable. You’ll have to try it to believe it! Classes run on Monday’s at 12.15.
Clinical Pilates Classes: Pilates is a form of exercise that targets our deep abdominal muscles, leading to a stronger “Core”. This is particularly important following any spinal pain, in order to reduce the risk of any recurrences. Here in Sandycove Physiotherapy Clinic,our pilates classes are taught by Chartered Physiotherapists. With our specialist knowledge of all types of spinal and general injuries, we will guide you on the road to recovery and optimum fitness. The clinical pilates class is at 6.30pm on Monday’s, with a morning class on the way.
