About us

Sandycove Physiotherapy was established in 2005 with comfort and luxury in mind, putting the needs of the patient first, offering physiotherapeutic care and treatment of the highest standard, along with a host of other complimentary therapies to improve your overall wellbeing.

All of our therapists are very highly qualified, keeping up to date in new and exciting treatment methods, offering our patients several treatment options to optimise their healing and rehab.

Our therapists can interpret scans and test results, correspond with your GP or consultant, and carry out a detailed subjective and objective examination to determine the cause of your injury whilst implementing a treatment plan to return you to your best potential in the shortest time frame that mother nature will allow.

We are recognised and covered by VHI, Laya Healthcare, AvivaHealth, and Glohealth.

Physiotherapy is tax deductible under the Med 1 scheme.

The body wants to repair itself; that’s what it was designed to do.  Physiotherapy treatment merely aims to provide an optimum environment for it to achieve this goal.

Just as every human body is different, so is the treatment plan.  But if there is one thing we all have in common, it is our bodies’ innate ability of self-healing.  With the appropriate support and intervention to the specific cause of dysfunction unique to the individual, the potential of recovery and function is almost unlimited.
